Paul Walker’s Brother Stops By Leno’s Garage With A JDM 1993 Toyota Supra

It’s always very sad when the good die young, especially under tragic circumstances. Unfortunately, the late Paul Walker is too often remembered for the way in which he was killed over four years ago and the lawsuits that followed. But that’s not the way he nor his family or the car community at large want to remember him, and Jay Leno is certainly no exception. On this latest episode of Jay Leno’s web series, the former Tonight Show host invited Paul Walker’s younger brother Cody to drop by to talk cars and something else very important.

The younger Walker brought not only one of his late older brother’s favorite cars, but also to promote his brother’s foundation. We’ll get back to that in a moment, but first, this Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) 1993 Toyota Supra was recently imported to the US, and it’s powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six paired to a six-speed manual. And yes, it’s mostly stock, meaning its output was limited (because of a rumored Japanese gentleman’s agreement) to around 280 hp. This particular Supra has a few engine modifications so its total output is probably closer to 300 ponies. Paul Walker was also the owner of a ’93 Supra, a car he helped make famous in the original “The Fast and the Furious” blockbuster movie. The younger Walker is also here to promote his brother’s foundation, Reach Out Worldwide, and the upcoming car show on May 20 it plans to put on in Santa Clarita, California. The foundation sends volunteers to small, outlying communities in the US and abroad in the wake of natural disasters.

Those who bring their cars to display at the show will pay a small entry fee and, along with other fundraising activities, all proceeds will be donated to the foundation. As for this still gorgeous Supra, well, what more can we say? It’s damn near perfect. If you’d like to register your car and/or get tickets for the show (doesn’t matter whether it’s JDM or anything else), head on over to inmemoryofpaul.com.
